The mission of the St. Croix Landmark’s Society is “to advance understanding and appreciation of the unique cultural legacy of St. Croix through preservation, research and education.”
The Society actively preserves two historic properties through our management of the Whim Plantation and the Carl and Marie Lawaetz Museum.
Other Island preservation activities include the stewardship and conservation of historic sites and nature preserves such as the Butler Bay Nature Preserve on the west end of St. Croix.
