St. George Village Botanical Gardens - St. George Botanical Garden, built on the ruins of a 19th century sugar plantation located in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. It features over 2,000 varieties of tropical plants.

St. Croix Landmarks Society Lawaetz Museum - At this lovely museum, the Society preserves the lush gardens and authentically furnished, historic home of a prominent Danish-Crucian family. Through expertly guided tours, visitors learn about rural life ways and values during the first half of the twentieth century. The admission fee is $10.00 for adults, $4.00 for children between 6 and 12 years, free for children under 6 years, $5.00 for groups of 10 or more (Reservation Required), seniors with ID. The museum is open November - April, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10-4pm; May - October, Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday 10-3pm. Group rates available. St. Croix Landmarks Society Estate Whim Plantation Museum - Whim Plantation Museum, an authentic Danish sugar estate dating from the 1700's offers and unforgettable glimpse into the days when sugar was King and rum flowed freely on St. Croix. Tour the elegantly furnished great house, explore sugar factory ruins, and roam the grounds. There is also a museum store with a large selection of West Indian crafts, furniture, prints and souvenirs

St. Croix Landmarks Society Christiansted Apothecary Hall - Located in downtown Christiansted, the Apothecary, a nineteenth-century Danish Colonial pharmacy museum, serves as brief a history lesson for all. The pharmacy was established by a Danish pharmacist who arrived in St. Croix in 1816 to prepare medicines for the Danish military garrison in Christiansted, then capital of the Danish West Indies. Initially medicines were manufactured for the Danish soldiers as well as the other physicians and pharmacists in the Danish West Indies. Unlike the addictive opium-containing medicines widely used in the U.S.A. at the time, the Danish pharmacists practiced what is known as "heroic medicine."

St. Croix Landmarks Society Heritage Trail - The St. Croix Heritage Trail traverses the entire 28 mile length of St. Croix linking the historic towns of Frederiksted and Christiansted with the fertile central plain, the mountainous Northside, and the arid East End. The route, which follows modernized 18th Century roads, offers a cross section of the island's history, culture, landscapes, and outdoor activities. The Trail traces the evolution of the island from days of sugar cane and cotton cultivation to cattle farms, homesteads, suburban communities, industrial complexes and tourist resorts. The Heritage Trail is a self-guided experience that allows you to explore the island at your own pace.

Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts - The Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts collects and exhibits art representing the Caribbean, provides an interactive environment for exploring forms and is a creative learning center to understand the Caribbean's rich art and culture.

Christiansted National Historic District - Christiansted National Historic Site, on the island of St Croix in the Virgin Islands, was established in 1952 through the initiative of concerned local citizens. The park’s mandate is twofold - to preserve the historic structure and grounds within its boundaries, and to interpret the Danish economy and way of life here between 1733 and 1917. The park consists of seven acres centered on the Christiansted waterfront/wharf area. On the grounds are five historic structures: Fort Christiansvaern (1738), the Danish West India & Guinea Company Warehouse (1749), the Steeple Building (1753), Danish Custom House (1844), and the Scale House (1856). The National Park Service uses these resources to interpret the drama and diversity of the human experience at Christiansted during Danish sovereignty – colonial administration, the military and naval establishment, international trade (including the slave trade), religious diversity, architecture, trades, and crime and punishment.

Fort Frederik - Fort Frederik was constructed in the mid-18th century by the Danish government to protect its interests in the Caribbean and to defend the western end of Saint Croix against incursion from other European powers. Fort Frederik was the focal point of two important events that led to the dissolution of the slave-based economy of the Virgin Islands. In 1848, Emancipation Revolt ended slavery in the Danish West Indies, but inaugurated a 30-year period of serfdom based on contract labor that ensured continuing control by plantation owners. Then in 1878, escalating tensions erupted into the Labor Riot and Fireburn, which ended the contract labor system.

Salt River Bay National Historical Park (Columbus Landing) - Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve was created in 1992 as part of the National Park System. The National Park Service and the Government of the United States Virgin Islands jointly manage this 1,015-acre park. The area’s blend of sea and land holds some of the largest remaining mangrove forests in the Virgin Islands, as well as coral reefs and a submarine canyon. Salt River Bay’s natural history, its vitally important ecosystem of mangroves, estuary, coral reefs, and submarine canyon, has witnessed thousands of years of human endeavor. Every major period of human habitation in the Virgin Islands is represented: several South American Indian cultures, the 1493 encounter with Columbus, Spanish extermination of the Caribs, attempts at colonization by a succession of European nations, and enslaved West Africans and their descendants. More than a dozen major archeological investigations since 1880, together with historical research, reveal this remarkable story. Few places engage the imagination so completely, drawing visitors into the spirit of the place and its beauty and sanctity.

Cruzan Rum Distillery - Since 1760, the Nelthropps have been carefully handcrafting Cruzan rum - passing the family expertise and passion on through eight generations.

Buck Island Reef - Buck Island Reef National Monument was established by Presidential proclamation in 1961, and expanded in 2001, in order to preserve "one of the finest marine gardens in the Caribbean Sea." The park is now one of only a few fully marine protected areas in the National Park System. The 176-acre island and surrounding coral reef ecosystem support a large variety of native flora and fauna, including several endangered and threatened species such as hawksbill turtles and brown pelicans. The elkhorn coral barrier reef that surrounds two-thirds of the island has extraordinary coral formations, deep grottoes, abundant reef fishes, sea fans and gorgonians. Although mainly known for its coral reef and nesting sites for turtles and birds, Buck Island has a rich cultural history as well

St. Croix Landmarks Society Ruins Ramble - Ruins Rambles are presented monthly from November to May by the Education Outreach Program of the St. Croix Landmarks Society. Exploring ruins is an enjoyable way to learn about St. Croix History. Each Ramble follows a similar format: We assemble at the site before 3:30pm. Following a brief overview of the history of the property by a knowledgeable guide, the hike takes us to ruins and points of interest on the property. The historic interpretation and hike usually take from 60 to 90 minutes. Refreshments of local fruit drinks, wine, cheese and assorted breads and crackers round out the afternoon

The St. Croix Archaeological Museum - The St. Croix Archaeology Museum is a small non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, dedicated to, "bringing the past alive", on the island of St. Croix.
